The day was sunny,morning birds were making what all sounds they can and i wake up from my sleep as usual,but today is some different day for me.Having passed the 10th Board exam with good percentage from a nearby school, the parents wants me to shift the school as my old school friends Ashok and Aneesh are also planning to make a shift to a new school St.Mary's.The morning prayers are also going to shift from that of a Saraswathy school to a CMI school.
Today is my day of interview.Its just a formality of checking the science and maths subjects marks and Fr.Joy gave me best wishes for a new life at St.Marys.My application number is 2956.It comes just in school library card.The new roll numbers will be assigned on class strength.After selecting Biology as my second subject along with preparing for Engineering entrance, this boy ,placing legs in both boats went to sail in XI - A,my new class.The teachers made we 5 from other school to sit separately.The 19 students from my old school and 3 students from Sarada school have joined here in my new class.The new students have to go through "introduction" phase. We were made to stand up while introducing and i did my part and sat.After finishing my job,i was talking to my new friend from Sarada Antony Joseph.In between ,i heard a "small voice" making her introduction to the entire class.She was short,with a look of a village girl.I couldn't hear even what her name was.It was such a low voice.Antony told me its Soumya.She was from his school.Every teacher wanted to talk to new commers ,so the boring introduction made us tired.But quite releaving was her light sound that whenever i hear made a light smile in myself (to be continued)..
